Photo Finish

I hardly ever use photos on my cards. This one was for the weekly challenge at the Daring Cardmakers blog. The challenge is to make a card for any occasion but it must include a photograph. I'd just earmarked a selection of photos of Fish playing in this Noddy car for a class layout & thought it would be perfect for a 'congrats on passing your driving test' sort of card.
I matted the photo & die cut the 'L' on red glimmer paper. The L Plate was made from a scrap of white card & cut with deckle edge scissors. The background paper is from 'Bookshelf' collection by American crafts. The edges of the mat were finished with eyelets and 3mm red satin ribbon. This was such a quick & easy card to make.

I remember Noddy from my childhood. I love the way you've used the red eyelets to attach everything together.

I think this is such a great idea for a "passed your test" card - could be the start of a whole range of cards!
